A lot of people talk about synchronicity as something that just happens. Something surprising occurs out of the blue and we attribute it to a “coincidence of time”.  The dictionary.com definition of synchronous is:

occurring at the same time; coinciding in time; contemporaneous; simultaneous.

Hence, our tendency is to accept events that surprise us in positive ways as coincidental.  Over the years of exploring consciousness, I have come to conclude that there is very little coincidence, chance or luck involved in synchronous events. And even more so, I have the experience of being able to create synchronicities by thinking, feeling, sensing and acting in a specific way so as to consciously create them!

This activity is what people call “the secret art of manifestation”.  For me, there’s nothing secret about it. It is simply a process of knowing a few keys and the incorporating every day by practicing!

This goes way, way beyond the Law of Attraction that was brought to most of us by “The Secret”, a groundbreaking film that came out in 2006. It’s been 10 years since the film’s DVD release and my question is this: Why are people still having so many issues with creating the life that they want if the “secret” is out?

In my view, the difficulty exists because we are still trying to think the “right thoughts”  with our head. And we are still trying to solve our problems within the same construct that created them in the first place.

Step one is all about learning how to incorporate your heart’s intuition into your thinking process so that your heart is broadcasting a specific, measurable vibration. (More about this in the webinar.)  When you do this, you will start to know what it feels like to live in an open hearted way.

The secret then, is learning the difference between a closed heart and an open heart, and choosing to create from the latter. As we do this, we align with more empowering thoughts. We have a heightened ability to sense the world around us, even on a non-local scale, and to then tap into opportunities that we would not have noticed if our hearts were shut down.

So what does an open heart feel like?

Simple. When your heart is open:

  • You feel a sense of connection to yourself and everything around you.
  • You are happy to be alive
  • You trust the process
  • You feel free to explore new things
  • You find yourself saying, “I can do it!”
  • You stay aware of the possibilities around you
  • You listen to your intuition and follow it.

As opposed to this, when your heart is closed, you feel the need to be on guard, you mistrust things and people, you find yourself saying “I can’t because”. In this state, possibilities that are right there can’t make it through because you won’t see them.

In the open-hearted state, you will find yourself being amazed over and over again at things that appear to “just happen”.  But they didn’t! Because your heart is open, you created the groundwork, the pathway and the possibility for synchronicity!

Here’s one of my recent examples;

I decided to say no to a distribution deal on my film, Sacred Journey of the Heart, because the contract conditions were just too onerous for me to fulfill. I found myself feeling down for a few days and wondering if I had just rejected the only offer I would ever get to stream my film on a worldwide platform. I caught myself shutting down my heart in self-doubt, criticism and “I can’t do it…”

And that’s the key, I caught myself.  In the space of one breath, I opened my heart (step 1) and moved the energy of “I can’t” and all associated feelings  (step 2) out of my heart…. And then, effortlessly, I  aligned myself  with a new possibility rather than seeing this as the end of the road.

The very next day, I received an email to submit my film to GaiaTV, now “Gaia”, and literally sailed through the process of getting the film onto their platform.  I’m happy to say that the film debuted on 7-7-2016 and can now be streamed anywhere in the world with an internet connection!  Click here to go to Gaia and sign up to see the film. In one way I was amazed and surprised, and yet, in another, I saw this as a confirmation that I did my part in creating this synchronicity by choosing to follow my simple process.

Note: I call “dark stress”, the kind of stress that unknowingly you take on just because it’s all around you. BelowL HOW TO SHIFT IT!
 

You may have heard the frequent reports on the news over the last few weeks about the shortage of TSA agents at the airports and the resultant long security lines, missed flights, and in Phoenix last week, 3,000 bags that didn’t even get on airplanes at all because the bag checking machines broke down!

So this morning, I went to the airport prepared to put my own tools and techniques in to practice. I talked about some of them in my article “Laughing it Up with the TSA” but that was before the TSA shortage of 6,000 agents in the face of a predictable increase in airline travel.

Apparently, I really meant to test myself because two unusual things happened this morning. 1) For the first time ever, I went to the wrong side of the terminal (the D gates) and waited in the pre-check line, until it was my turn to be ID-checked, only to have the TSA agent send me to the other side of the terminal to get into the A gates line. So I had to go through waiting in line again!  And 2) I “beeped” through the security gate and got pulled over into the random security check line with 4 other people.

 We were all corralled into a corner by a mafia-looking supervisor while we waited to have our hands swabbed for explosive residue – (I wanted to say, “I promise I washed my hands before coming to the airport!” – but just like with cops, I know it’s best to keep your mouth shut and have a pleasant grin on your face.)  

While I was waiting in all of these lines, I noticed the high-level of stress swirling all around me. And I noticed also that despite my intentions, I had started to absorb the other people’s stress (OPS) around me by thinking “Group-think” nasty thoughts, and feeling stressed-out myself. I saw people grumbling, huffing big annoyed sighs, eyeball rolling and outright complaining along with some yelling. “This is ludicrous!” My own chatterbox mind was going a mile a minute, commenting internally, criticizing myself for getting in the wrong line with the wrong shoes, thinking nasty thoughts about the “TSA mafia” and judging others for their wrong behavior when there was nothing that they could do about the TSA procedures and lines.

“Hold the Phone!!”, I reminded myself! I just forgot to do what I know to do because I let dark OPS sneak up on me. I call “dark stress”, the kind of stress that you take on just because it’s all around you.  This has a real and detrimental effect on the health of our bodies, the state of our emotions and the quality of our thoughts. We all know what this feels like, and if we take on enough of it, it internalizes and leads to all kinds of health problems.

Where does this dark stress come from? It comes from the heart-signals that everyone, including ourselves, is broadcasting into the environment around us. This is not woo-woo energy stuff, but the real and measurable signals that emanate from our hearts

If we feel annoyed, angry, spiteful and worried, all of that has a frequency and that is what we send out to everyone around us. So the more we are in the middle of it, the more it can impact us so that we too, become attracted into doing, feeling and thinking the same dark OPS things!

So given the current conditions at the airport, it’s a place that we can easily be impacted/bombarded by the dark or negative emotions and thoughts of all the people around us. This applies of course, to every situation in our lives where there is stress – in family squabbles, a competitive working environment and in the impact of constant information coming at us through our electronic devices. So the question is: can we do anything about it?

As you know, the answer is we absolutely can do something simple and empowering to cancel out the impact of dark OPS. But even more, we can shift the energy around us by choosing to be a positive or light-hearted contributor in stressful places and situations.

So when I caught myself in the swirl of dark OPS, I went into my “Airport ZEN” mode. I did not detach from the situation and people around me, I stayed engaged and chose to change it.

HOW TO SHIFT DARK OPS

 I shifted my focus from the outside and into the Observer Self on the inside. I sat back and observed myself watching what was going on inside my own mind as well as seeing the energies swirling around me. “Who am I?”,  I asked. I am the one observing, I am the one who sees. (Note: for those of you interested in numerology, the question, “Who Am I?” =33.  33 is called the Master Spiritual Teacher number!)

In one second, everything quieted down inside, and I remembered to focus on my heart. I remembered to let go of the outside AND the inside noise by concentrating on the subtle feeling in my heart.  And then, and only then, did I deepen into compassion. Compassion for the people around me, for myself and for the TSA.

Everything changed for me in this moment. I was happy to be exactly where I was, waiting to get my hands checked by a young, stressed out TSA agent.  Instead of resenting him, I opened my heart and sent out a big wave of gratitude. I looked directly at him heart-fully saying, “Thanks so much!” as he gave me the “all clear” signal. Yes! Indeed I was all clear and I knew that in that moment, I had contributed to a clear space around me and maybe even brightened the young TSA agent’s day.

This little practice takes only a second or two to shift into and it completely cancels out the impact of Other People’s Stress in our own daily life. And even more importantly, when we truly open our hearts we are able share a ray of happiness and gratitude that just may help others. When we can lessen others’ stress, if only for a moment, we receive the gift of continuing on our journey with more lightness and joy inside our hearts.

In the 6 months, since I’ve unveiled my new Triple Heart Technique, I’ve really shifted my personal habits and my coaching practice to STOP playing small and START living large!live-large

Below is a quick checklist for you to run through to see if you’re playing small and thereby experiencing “ROT-itis”. Rot-itis is defined as a practiced state of engaging in Repeating Old Themes. This condition is a slowly, simmering one that can eat-away at the foundation of your life purpose and mission. Engaging is the key verb, because to engage means “attract and occupy the attention of”.  It is a choice to engage in old patterns!

And it is always possible to start New. Below, I’ll share what my N-E-W acronym means.

But the first step to disengage is to “Spot the ROT”.

The interesting thing about “rot” is that it usually happens under the surface and is related to water seepage that goes undetected. This is a direct analogy for what happens to us, as human beings when we don’t pay attention and take care of our emotional health and well-being. After all, most of us have had little to no education about emotions and how to effectively manage them as a key part of our lives. As an element, water is most often associated with emotions – so it doesn’t take much of  a leap to see the connection with undetected rot-itis and emotional seepage!

Once you spot the rot, the next steps flow with ease, like taking off a shoe that’s giving you a blister. You don’t have to keep wearing the shoe that doesn’t fit anymore, that rubbed you raw from too much repetition! You can take it off and put on a new shoe that you choose for lasting comfort.

Pay special attention if you find yourself saying, “If it was that easy, I would have already done it!” Well, the truth is, if you responded with that comment in your head, see #2 below.

Here’ is Checklist to help you “spot the ROT” (keep track of how many of these you identify with as going on in your life):

  1. You wake up in the morning and you want to stay in bed 10 minutes more.
  2. You find yourself saying the words, “I can’t because….”
  3. You procrastinate on taking care of your daily responsibilities (i.e. making the bed, doing the dishes, laundry or picking up after yourself, paying the bills etc.)
  4. You procrastinate on the BIG stuff – (i.e. taking action to pursue your important goals)
  5. You indulge in negative self-talk in any form – (i.e. I’m too tired, fat, poor, unintelligent.. )
  6. You make excuses for not doing things –(i.e. connecting with friends, taking up that new hobby you want to do, planning your activity for the next day, week, month or year.)
  7. You get caught up in old family stories
  8. You let yourself go- (i.e. get overweight, stop working out, stop looking your best)
  9. You hesitate to make connections with “movers and shakers”, thinking they are too busy to engage with you.
  10. You settle for less.

How many of these do you do?

Here is how to score yourself:

0-2: No problem, you’re just being human and we all have a few off days.

3-4: Caution, ROT may be setting in. Take action now!

5-6: ROT is taking hold. It’s time to call in the excavators.

7+: You’ve got a serious case of ROT-itis. It’s time to learn a new skill and clear it all out!

The good news is that no matter where you are on the scale, you can easily change this by choosing to get back in charge of your life, putting yourself first and reclaiming your innate power to create your life.

I call this process establishing a “New Now”. N-E-W stands for Nurturing Emotional Well-being.  When you do this, it results in a powerful feeling of renewal, empowerment and life mastery!

Here is what it looks and feels like when you are living in the New Now:

  1. You wake up every day and are excited to get out of bed
  2. You are full of creative ideas and ideas to implement them, “I am able because….”
  3. You take care of your daily responsibilities with appreciation and gratitude
  4. You take action each day to pursue your important goals
  5. You encourage yourself by focusing on how good it feels to be making progress
  6. You find ways to do things that are important to you, and catch yourself quickly if you starting putting off the fun things in life
  7. You spot old family stories right away, and instead of engaging and energizing them, you smile on the inside (and out!) and are grateful that they no longer control you.
  8. You take care of yourself and you know that true beauty is an inside job.
  9. You reach out and feel worthy to make a connection with anyone including the  “movers and shakers”, and you realize that you too are a change-maker
  10. You go for it!

So what’s the easy way to shift into creating a New Now, free of ROT?

First, let me say that in coaching people as long as I have (12+years), it can happen that I find myself in a rut and then I have to create a way to get out of it! These are big self-teaching opportunities that can become the springboard for great new ideas. That’s exactly how I created my new Triple Heart Technique that very easily moves stuck energy and emotion out of the body, mind and spirit and creates room for new things to blossom.

What is a Soul Decoder??

Today is Leap Day! Is it just an “extra” day in the calendar every 4 years, or is there something special that we can take advantage it? Below I offer 3 questions and a simple activity you can play with over the next 48 hours (and all Leap Year!) to really move your projects and goals to a higher level.

If you’ve read my articles regularly, you’ll know that I am passionate about numerology.  My 20 years of experience with numbers has led me to agree with the ancient philosopher Pythagoras and modern-day scientist Nikolas Tesla, that numbers are the basic building blocks of our reality.

In a previous article, I outlined the numerology opportunities for the year 2016.  2016 = 2+0+16 = 18 and 1+8 =9.  This year, the vibration of 18/9 and all the variations of 9 are important. Because it’s a 9 year, there is special occurrence that happens on Leap Day in terms of numerology –a Master Number Day Happens twice in a row!

If we look at the Leap Day 2-29-2016 and the day following it, 3-1-2016, we will see something really special:

Both today, Leap Day, and tomorrow, March 1st, are “22” days.  22 in numerology is called the Master Builder, or Master Architect number.

The Master Builder frequency is all about bringing ideas into manifestation.  It represents an evolution of creating something new from the wisdom that we have already gained.  So a Leap Day of “22”, following by another “22” Master Builder Day offers us a very powerful opportunity to initiate IDEAS into ACTION!

When we consciously engage in this activity, it is like opening a big flowing stream of opportunity, rather than letting through just an occasional drip.

When we align with the 22:22 frequencies, our intentions have the possibility of quickly manifesting!

Here are the 3 questions and 1 simple language trick that you may want to play with over the next 48 hours and continue throughout the 2016 Leap Year:

1)     What 4 things can I do to make concrete progress towards the realization of a goal or project that is important to me this year?  When you take “concrete action”, the universe responds. And “4” is the number of the concrete, material world.  So, doing 4 things directs energy and opportunities your way.  For example, if you are looking for a new job – make 4 calls, send 4 resumes, and make 4 new connections on LinkedIn or Facebook.

2)     How may I best use my life lessons, or personal wisdom, to navigate more expertly through the changes I am initiating now? In order to do this, of course, you must have a clear sense of what you’ve learned so far in life.  For example, if you have learned how listen to and trust your intuition, you may want to set aside a few minutes every day to listen to your inner voice. Instead of waiting for an urgent situation to develop, continue to cultivate this valuable skill.  Other examples of wisdom that you want to continue to access:  Authenticity, Empowerment, Discernment, Creativity etc…

3)     Initiate activities with the phrase:I can because….” For example, I can plan my next vacation, because I am going to take time off, relax and enjoy.  I can commit to a certification program in my area because I am choosing to deepen my expertise.  When you support yourself with this phrase, you are literally saying, “I CAN Be the Cause”… of creating momentum forward.  I encourage you to try this because as simple as it is, it is very powerful!

4)     How would I feel if my deepest heart’s desire came true in 2016?  Identify the feeling and lock it into your heart.  Remember that your heart is your most powerful organ in terms of the signal that it sends out all the way around you. This is not “woo-woo” but a proven fact. 2016 is a year of powerful opportunity. The new opportunities are coming at a very accelerated pace, so the more you consciously work with this special time of change, the more rewarding your results will be!

I’m inspired by the current Fat Summit this week (January 24-31, 2016) to write more about the fat issue. In many ways fat is a “twisted issue” because of misinformation which has led to confusion. We were taught over the last two decades the “eating fat makes you fat”. This is the #1 cause for our prevailing “fear of fat”.

I’ve got it and I still struggle with feeling ok while eating good fats.

PLUS, in English, French and probably a lot of languages, we use the same word for fat in our foods “fat” and fat that gets stored on on bodies “fat”!! This is downright crazy-making. We have the message that body fat is bad, certain food fat is good! (I just learned from Nick Ortner that the Tibetans have totally different words for body fat and food fat. We got language-deprived somehow, complicating our relationship with the “energy of fat”!)

On top of that, even though over 70% of us in America are “fat” or overweight to some degree, we still have a sense of judgment about ourselves or from others,  and even perhaps, shame about our weight.

However, I see the actors on television ads and shows more and more overweight as time goes on, reflecting what’s happening in society. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Maybe some of both. Accepting ourselves as we are is the starting point for change, but settling for a new norm of fat-ness can and does have far-reaching health consequences. I vote for living in a body that feels good, moves well and stays vibrantly healthy as we age!

A few days ago, I shared with you that my acronym for F-A-T is Fear-Avoidance-Technique.

To flush this out, what I mean is that when we end up with excess fat on our bodies, inevitably we have been engaging in some type of of feelings-avoidance (unless we truly have a genetic-hormonal imbalance).  We have usually “gone dark”, or have been engaging in unconscious eating or drinking that imbalances our body’s set-point and signals our biochemistry to start to drive fat into our cells, to store it, and to lock in it place. (If you want to know the biology of this, Dr. David Ludwig’s talk, the Biology of Obesity is very informative.)

Further complicating this is that the foods that we typically reach for when we are in full F-A-T mode (feelings avoidance) are ones that immediately make us “feel better” but at the same time convert quickly into stored fat because we are creating an insulin imbalance in the body.  Things like chips, cookies and ice cream – those processed carbs that we know we should avoid but we eat anyway because of the pleasure factor.

The most serious health risk is that as we get fatter, we store more belly fat. Belly fat is the most dangerous fat because it makes toxins and releases chemicals called cytokines. As I understand it, cytokines are the real bad-guys of fat, because they cause inflammation and can lead to all sorts of diseases including heart disease, cancer and diabetes.

I’ve enjoyed all of the information on the Fat Summit so far, but so far, none of the speakers are presenting a technique or program that deals with the feelings that led us to overeat and that also directly address to storage area of these feelings- the BELLY!

I’m excited that the new technique I developed last summer, called the Triple Heart Healing Technique, or THHT, does both of these things: with an easy-to-learn process, we address and MOVE the feelings that lead to fat by connecting physically, emotionally and spiritually to where they are stored. How long does this take? 5 minutes.

What are the side effects? Freeing up the feelings that cause us to go dark or unconscious and to then soothe ourselves by eating processed carbs! Having a specific technique to address feelings that get stored as fat in the body is an essential part of  any weight loss program.

In the beginning of new year, many of us set new goals about weight loss. Last summer, I talk about “desserts” as “Stressed” spelled backwards. I had just been introduced to the show Cupcake Wars by my kids and was amazed by how stressful making cupcakes could be! The more stressed I became watching the show, the more I wanted cupcakes!

I’ve learned over the years that excess body fat at a basic level is not so much related to what we eat, but WHY we eat what we eat. Many of us eat more when we are stressed but why is this?

My conclusion is that stress-eating and getting fat is directly correlated to what we are not dealing with. And what is that? Our feelings!

So my acronym for F-A-T is Feelings-Avoidance-Technique!

If you ask someone how they deal with stress, they won’t say, “I avoid my feelings”. But that’s often exactly what happens. Instead of slowing down, tuning in and dealing with the underlying cause of stress, it’s easier to just “stuff it” and go on. And stuffing is easiest done with a comfort food, a mindless TV show or getting immersed in social media of some kind.

I’m exited that we can now get accurate information about food, eating and health. There is so much misinformation about how best to lose weight and even more difficult, how to keep it off.  I’m happy to see my friend Nick Ortner as a guest on this event. I interviewed Nick for my telesummit a few years ago and clearly, he understands the connection between weight, stress and feelings.

In my experience, every time I gained weight, I had been experiencing stress for a long time. There’s a cascade that happens for us, especially women that goes like this: we start getting stressed by being over-busy.  Then we reward ourselves with a treat (like a dessert). This makes us feel temporarily better (due to chemical responses in the body such as serotonin), but then it leaves us feeling sluggish, tired and craving more. The more we indulge in the cravings, the less active we become. The less active we become, the more weight starts to pile on!

In my case, I have had bouts of going into denial about getting fat that included not weighing myself at all and then starting to wear only yoga pants so I don’t have to notice how my regular clothes were getting uncomfortable! So yep, like a lot of you, I have tons of experience gaining and losing weight.

Below, I’ll share with you three approaches that can stop this cycle without dieting!  I’ve realized it’s never really about the fat content in food, but about our ineffective methods of coping with emotions and stress!

#1 Feelings Incorporation Technique (F-I-T!) is my all-new Triple Heart Healing Technique.

I created this technique last year to help my clients easily learn how to move emotions and effectively deal with their feelings. This technique uses music in a specific healing frequency (528 Hz) and involves connecting to the body in a specific area where a lot of emotion is stored.  In the 3 hour webinar, I outline a new foundation for understanding our subtle energy anatomy based on 12 chromatic chakras as opposed to the existing old system of 7. I also have two other techniques that are very helpful in managing stress and reducing cravings and binge-eating.

If you find yourself struggling with stress-related cravings or bingeing, either one of these programs can help and neither one of them involves dieting or restricting food:

The first two, Notice and Ease and the Power of Neutral, are helpful to stop cravings as soon as you become aware of them. Quick Coherence is the main technique we use to change the pattern of stress eating and to sustain commitments you make to having a healthier lifestyle.

Both programs are very robust and include individual coaching with me. They are tailored to your needs and your specific goals. And as I stated above, neither one of them focuses on dieting, restrictions or calorie counting!

The good news is that when you are stressed, you don’t have to find yourself reaching for more desserts or treats. You can learn to effectively deal with your feelings. And also learn to activate either the brain or the heart’s power to learn new skills for managing life’s every day stressors before they get overwhelming or out of control.

It truly is one of life’s greatest pleasures to enjoy a great dessert every once in a while! For me, the more conscious I am of making a good choice, the better the dessert tastes!

At the end of each year, I spend time “decoding” the major themes of the upcoming year through numerology. One of my greatest passions is to decode the vibration and resonance of word and names to reveal the deeper meanings behind things.

Whats’ a “Master Soul Decoder?” My clients often say to me: “Wow! how did you know that?”, when all I’ve done is look at their name numerology or decoded a series of 4 or 5 numbers that they give me in the beginning of their session.  These numbers are not random at all! The series of numbers my clients give me are what I call their “soul code” as it pertains to the issue they wish to explore during the session.  When I look at these numbers, it always, without exception, tells me what their soul is really desiring to hear, to do, or to stop doing to make progress on  their life’s journey. How does it work and what can a numerology-based title do? I have been using Pythagorean numerology for years as a foundation of my coaching practice. Understanding your personal vibration through your birth name and birth date is very helpful in knowing your life’s mission and purpose.  Every major project I undertake is based on the vibrational message that’s behind the title.

For example, Sacred Journey of the Heart, the title of my award-winning documentary film, equals 111 when the letters are translated to numbers.  111 is a very important triple master number that signifies the sacred trinity in all things. And 111/3 is about partnership. I created the film title based on that number. And it created a “resonant field” around it that influenced the decisions of many of my guest speakers to join the project. That’s how powerful I believe the underlying resonance of words are.

The Influence of the Calendar Date: In addition to our names and the titles of things, we are all greatly influenced by calendar dates. We are aware of what the date is and what we have scheduled day by day, often referring to our calendars and datebooks to set our schedules and remember what we’ve planned to do.

Let’s look at the numerology of 2016 and translate it into the major vibrational themes we have to work with this year. First, here is a basic chart that shows you have Pythagorean numerology translates letters to numbers.  It’s very simple:

The year 2016 = 2+0+1+6=9.  There are many iterations of “9” that we can examine that will give us insights about the overall 9 theme.  For example, 2+0+16 = 18.  This is the most powerful and basic of the “9” themes. When we translate the word “love”, it equals 18/9.

Love translates as:  L=3; 0=6, V=4; E= 5  3+6+4+5= 18; and 18 is 1+8=9. Very simple!  In my estimation, numerology is not just a little game or something interesting. It forms the vibrational foundation of everything.  This aligns with the first two Universal Laws which are the Law of Vibration and the Law of Resonance.

Numerology and the first two Universal Laws: The Law of Vibration states that “Everything vibrates”.  Everything moves and nothing is completely at rest.  The Law of Resonance states that once expressed, a vibration will continue to resonate and impact nearby energies, creating a sympathetic and/or dissonant frequencies. So if you know the foundation of number’s frequency, you know exactly what to build upon it.

For 2016 the key words are all related to the frequency of 9.  In general “9” indicates an opportunity for humanitarian service. To me, this means doing something that will benefit all of humanity and not just the self. It is about stepping outside of our personal roles and goals, and expanding into something that is helpful to others on a larger scale. A 9 year contains the possibility of “expression of our true service in the world”.

Within this definition, there are key “9” words:

  • Expansion = 45/9
  • Expression = 54/9
  • Service = 36/9
  • Opportunity – 63/9
  • And as I’ve already shared, Love = 18/9

I have actually written out my mission statement for 2016 based on these as few other key vibrations!

Here are a few more “9” themes: Grow= 27/9, Leader = 27/9, Inspire = 45/9, Determination = 72/9.

The Key Choices of 2016: In every year, we have a choice to make about how we will interact in the world.  Last year, 2015, a year of “8”, was about the basic choice to “trust” which equals 17/8″  or to “doubt” which also equals 17/8. If you take a minute to think about last year, you will undoubtedly see how this theme played out in your life.

This year, 2016, the choice is centered around Love and power. As we’ve seen, Love = 18/9. That’s the basic energy of this year. But Power is a 32/5 word.  So power itself is not a theme. But if we look at how we embody our power, the “9” choice becomes clear.

Powerlessness = 54/9

Much, if not all of our frustrations about expressing and expanding our life’s true purpose comes from a basic feeling of powerlessness. If you are willing to fully embrace your power, from a foundation of Love, you begin to embody a different “9” vibration:

I Embrace the Power I Am = 99! “99” is the super “9” master number.  It’s like putting a big explanation point on the 9 and telling the universe – “I mean it!”

Even more power-full, is this statement:
I Love Being Powerful! This also = 99!  Say this out loud and see how it feels. I’d never said this out loud before I decoded this phrase as being the “Master Generator” number for this 9 year!

Most of us learned to be afraid of our power when we were little. We never learned what it means to fully embody our power from the foundation love. All of my teaching in 2016 is based on the foundational vibration of “9”. My latest technique, the Triple Heart Technique, also resonates with 9.  Triple Heart Technique = 108/9.

This all-new healing technique uses the power of sound through music, an awareness of our expanded energy system and a simple process for healing stuck emotions. When we do this process, it becomes very easy to move forward into this year of opportunity, expansion, expression and love!

I believe that I made this type of discovery in preparing for my recent webinar on Manifesting with the 12 Universal Laws of Consciousness. The awareness I had resulted in synthesizing a powerful, effective method for mastering our own life circumstances.

I’m calling my new method The Triple Heart Healing Technique (THHT) and it involves learning about the physiological presence and function of our two “hidden hearts”.

Once you know about this, you can then learn how to easily move stuck emotions through the mind-heart-body and thereby creating a new signal that gets broadcast into the field around you. When you do this, you then have the capacity to consciously interact at the quantum level with the Law of Assumption – the 12th of 12 Universal Laws. The Law of Assumption is the highest manifesting law and in mastering this, many new possibilities expand into reality!

The Origin of THHT:

I actually created the technique in 2008 but didn’t start using it until late 2014 because I didn’t realize the power of what this process unleashes! At first, I thought it was another nice meditation that resulted in inner calm and balance. But when I started using it with consistency and a higher level of understanding of the Laws, I began to notice that things were changing very, very quickly!

In fact, so quickly that I actually went through the 5 stages of “reality altering emotional process”! I borrow this from the Kubler-Ross 5 stage grief model. When our reality or paradigm shifts suddenly, whether it’s caused by an unexpected diagnosis or any other sudden shift of our reality, we will go through these stages.

In the Kubler-Ross model for grief, the stages are:

—-denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance

In my adapted model for the 5 stages of “positive paradigm shift”, the stages are similar at the beginning and end, but different in the middle:

—-denial, excitement, verifying, doubt and acceptance

Here’s how the process went for me and many of my clients when we combined the THHT with our awareness of the highest Universal Laws:

Denial: “The result I just experienced is related to something else” ; “This is just a coincidence”; “It can’t be this easy” (red alert: this statement can kill change before it has a chance to sink in!);

Excitement: “Wow! This really works” “I’m going to share this with everyone!” “Why didn’t anyone tell me this before?” “I can’t believe it!” (stay on the lookout for this statement because it is very negating unless you catch it quickly!)

Verifying: “I’m going to test this out on everything”; “This is working!”; “I’m going to see if my friends experience the same thing”

Doubt: This sets in when some things you are working on take a little longer (an effect that I explain in relation to the 7th Universal Law, the Law of Attraction – i.e. Why it takes longer to manifest a new love interest than a parking space!) “This isn’t working anymore!”; “This is just like everything else I’ve tried – it works for awhile and then stops”; “I don’t have time to keep this up.”

Acceptance: If you continue to use the technique and experience results and transformation, the 5th stage sets in: “I am a powerful manifestor!”; “I am so happy to be in the driver’s seat of my life now!” “I am empowered!”

The sooner we recognize this 5-stage process and have a technique to help us, the easier and faster it is to navigate. Before my discovery, I would NOT have used the word “faster” because I had an experienced-based belief that transformation takes time – a long time. I believed that true and deep transformation is related to many factors, internal and external.  And that a big part of it was the repetitive and consistent practice over time of learning to master emotions.

But now I know just how fast the transformative process can be. For example, I had been searching for an explanation and a cure for a mystery illness one of my children had been struggling with for a few years. After countless and frustrating attempts to uncover what was at the root of his symptoms, the answer came in a day after we did the Triple Heart Healing Technique together! He is now in the road to regaining his health and getting on with life as a teenager.

The Key Factor:

The gist of how the technique works is based on something you probably already know. But the shift of it resides in a few things you might not yet know!

Very simply put, the underlying issue in having difficulty creating the life we desire is “inconsistent vibration”.  And the inconsistent vibration is a conflict between thoughts and emotions.  In other words, a conflict between your head and your heart. And because our culture emphasizes the intellect and the mind, we learn early on in life to ignore the wisdom and intuition of our hearts – and in doing so, disconnect from our most powerful energetic organ that we have!

For example:

In your mind you can think and repeat this thought: “I am Successful”

But if you truly feel: Anxiety about your current situation, Fear of not measuring up, or Shame about past failures, your heart will be broadcasting this emotion-based signal every moment!

No wonder it can be hard to change our circumstances if we don’t know HOW to access and tap into different energies to create a different outcome.

I’m sure you’ve heard the Einstein quote that says the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. So how, exactly, do we do something different?

That’s the HOW-To that comes into play in the Triple Heart Healing Technique.  We learn to tap into the hidden heart energies in our own physiology while at the same time accessing a new quantum reality….

What’s really interesting is that one of the latest theories in quantum physics provides the “how-to” of accessing expanded possibilities. So we no longer have to rely on the “old” to create something new! The latest discovery in quantum physics is upending the current understanding of Quantum Wave Mechanics- you know, the theory that we probably first encountered either in advanced science classes or in the “What the Bleep Do We Know?” film; if you saw this film you may remember the particle-wave duality that was briefly explained.

When I learned how the particle-wave duality is now understood, this was the moment that knocked my socks off! I’ve figured out how to translate this new understanding into our own lives and shift out of old patterns!

Living Peace

Living with a feeling of peace has been a fleeting experience in my life. At best, I would feel peaceful for a day or two after deep meditation or spending hours on a process or technique to “clear things”.  You name it, I’ve cleared it! Depleting emotions, repeating or destructive thoughts, core negative beliefs, karmic ties, ancestral lineage…. And in past years, I even bought into clearing entities or discarnate beings, hoping maybe that was the source of my lack of lasting peace.

How awesome would that be if someone else could wave a wand and some nasty invisible being could be “poofed” out of existence and then finally, I would be at peace once and for all?!

I lovingly look back at experiences like that, as a training ground for what I have discovered now: Living Peace that is not dependent on outside circumstances and is certainly not related some kind of “energy hanger-on-er” that was preventing me from being calm.

If you’ve read my blog articles, you will know that a big piece of calming down for me was to get my brain sorted out with the powerful frequency-based technology of Brain Tek. Last summer, in the midst of a lawsuit, I had to find a solution for my intense anxiety and rumination. I was not functioning well and was told to go on drugs like Prozac to feel better. That wasn’t a solution for me, and thank goodness, I found Brain Tek’s Behavioral Entrainment Program!

In just a few short weeks on my personalized sound protocol, the anxiety and rumination was gone and I was able to choose to stop thinking obsessively about something I couldn’t control.  A lot of other great things happened during the 6 week sound entrainment therapy: I was able to clear out my brain fog, I could make decisions more easily, I stopped procrastinating and I was sleeping better.

I’ve helped hundreds of clients with the Brain Tek program and I still highly recommend it.  I call it “getting your brain sorted out”.  This cures us of the heart-brain hijack that I discuss in many of my recorded webinars. This happens when our brain gets overactive and stuck, due to stress. When that happens, our heart’s internal broadcasting system, its electromagnetic field, sends out signals of distress into our environment. This is a scientific fact studied by many, including the Institute of HeartMath.

Not only are we not at peace when this is happening, everyone around us senses it! They may not consciously know it but they DO sense it. You know – that sense of “here comes Debbie Downer?” That is real and the signal comes from the stressed out heart.

But even with my brain’s neural network firing more functionally, I found that a deep sense of peace was still elusive. I could choose not to worry, but a circumstance would arise and I would be irritated, or annoyed or frustrated, or confused in that moment.  And depending on the issue, the emotional state would run in the background and I simply was not feeling peaceful. I was ok, I was functioning well, but not with a sense of deep peace.

Realizing that, I went back into the archives of my work and found a simple technique I had created in 2008 that I called the Triple Heart Technique. I’ve been working with this simple practice that can be done anywhere in 3 to 5 minutes. It is not dependent on technology or workbooks or worksheets once you practice it a few times. It involves simply opening the energetic hearts within the physiology and letting go of emotions, attitudes or actions that are creating the conditions for lack of peace. And lack of peace is the underlying state that causes distress, disconnect and disease.

The reason I created this technique was that I found that for many people, opening up to do deep heart work was difficult, if not impossible. Time and time again, in my film screenings and workshops, I talked to people who said:  “I just don’t feel anything anymore”, “I’ve shut down my heart”, “I only live from my head up.” “I want to open my heart in order to have more intimacy and connection, but I just don’t know how!” In other words, “Help!”

I have discovered many ways to do this, but again, they are time consuming and require worksheets, workbooks and outside tools.

In the last year, I’ve been refining this simple process and have seen it work miracles in people’s lives. In my own life, I have been dealing with a 22 year old son who has been diagnosed, finally, with a psychological condition that requires lifelong management. This has been so difficult to handle, because, as a mother of 4 kids, I have always been able to find a way to help them. But not with this one. I have had to rely on the expertise of others, and to accept that I can’t do anything to make it different than what it is. My son will have to work through this and choose what kind of life he will have. And yet, I am at peace with this.

I am also at peace with other things that have been daunting over the years, like the emotional distance and disconnect with my siblings, my divorce, the ups and downs of self-employment, the turbulence on airlines even!

This is what I call “Living Peace”.  My sense of peace is no longer externally driven.  It isn’t dependent on the quality of my morning meditation or the traffic conditions, weather or even the health and well-being of my kids.

Quantum Math: How to Use the Equations at a Crossroads

I’ve faced many crossroad decisions in my life, and I have to say that I’m risk taker – I don’t follow the easy path and most of all, I never give up. In fact, this is one of my favorite quotes to live by:

“Risk anything! Care no more for the opinion of others … Do the hardest thing on earth for you. Act for yourself. Face the truth.”  ~Katherine Mansfield

When facing a decision, for the most part, the opinions of others don’t really give us much guidance other than, well, their opinions.

So exactly how do we “fuel our journey”? If you’re like me, no one really taught you how to make good decisions – how to Act for yourself and Face the truth. I believe that this is the #1 reason that sometimes we find ourselves in a place we didn’t intend to be!

Growing up, I didn’t even know what truth was. In my experience, it was all relative to what I was expected to say to either, 1) cover the lies of my parents or 2) try to avoid punishment or suffering. “Tell the truth” was a loaded statement for me. While I knew what the truth was, I wasn’t allowed to speak it.

Unfortunately, that is the reality for all of us who lived with any kind of abuse- emotional, mental, sexual or spiritual. In fact, I know that one of the reasons I am passionately attracted to numerology is that it represents an “absolute truth”. Using Pythagorean numerology, the word “love” can only equal 18 and 1+8=9, the number of completion and humanity. It can’t be any other number. This appeals to me and I’ve delved deeply into numerology and use it to decode the world around me!

In learning how to make good decisions for myself, I have created a road map, or what I call Quantum Mathematics for the Soul. I use the word quantum, to mean “the smallest, indivisible particle”. This is a way of getting to the truth of something. And the truth that I’m interested in aligns with these three principles:

#1 – I will learn and grow from the experience;

#2 – I will be of service to others by connecting, communicating and caring;

#3 – I will act from authenticity and integrity, creating an inner and outer environment of peace and stability.

So my question is this: Is there a way to make decisions that will give you clear and direct feedback? For me there is, and it is a simple process of asking yourself questions that stem from these “equations”.  First, I’ll share the equations, and then I’ll share an example about how to use them in making decisions.

The Quantum Mathematics for the Soul: Equations to Live by:

The 4 Basic Operations:

What I embrace, adds-

What I deny, subtracts.

What I share, multiplies-

What I horde, divides.

The Operations in Application:

What I courageously face, I empower-

What I fear, I reinforce.

What I know, I energize –

What I believe, I become.

What I accept is expanded-

What I resent is returned.

What I let go of is limitless –

What I hold on to is limited.

What I seek in abundance, is found within-

What I seek in lack, is found without.

What I examine, strengthens my Cornerstone.

What I hide from, erodes my Foundation.

When I follow my own soul, I am found

When I follow others, I become lost

What I think, draws me to an outer reality.

What I feel, aligns me with the Sacred Journey of the Heart.

The Exponential Principle:

When I Love, I tap into the Infinite Source

And through this Source, I exponentially multiply my greatest gifts:

The love, wisdom and power of my Soul.

Those are the equations or the cornerstone of what I use to ask myself questions when faced with  a decision. In my years of counseling and coaching, I have encountered three major decision points with people:

1) Do I stay in my relationship or is it best to  leave?

2) Do I stay in my location or move to another place?

3) Is it time for a career change or is it best to stay with what I know?

Let’s take example #1, the big relationship question. What I recommend is to take the 4 basic equations and ask yourself questions related to the operations:

Have I fully embraced the person I am with, accepting who they are, how they express themselves and understanding what is important to them, thereby adding to our life together? OR

Have I denied parts of this person, wanting them to be different than they are, seeing them as flawed, “less than” or no longer right for me, subtracting from what we were attracted to in the first place?

Have I shared my true thoughts and feelings with my significant other, revealing my true self and thereby multiplying our feelings of love, respect and dignity? OR

Have I horded my true self, keeping myself separate and apart and causing division in our goals and dreams?

From here, I go through the other “operations”, turning them into awareness of where I am truly coming from and what answers align with my three principals.

It becomes very clear that if a person answers these questions with more power and emphasis on the negative issues, he/she is dealing with a denial of what is going on within him/herself. When this is the “underlying operation”, changing the exterior, whether that’s a person, a job or a location, will not create a new outcome. I’m not suggesting that someone stays in a situation that is unbearable, but I am saying, that understanding what is really going on, deep within, will create a clear pathway to a new experience.

I’ve learned to embrace change and to be aware of the equations that expand consciousness, create more connection, and lead to deeper peace, within and without.

Remember at the crossroads, the more conscious you are of your choice, the less regret you have, and the more empowered you become!
